Why does my Charge 5 die after 90 minutes cycling?

No matter how much battery is left in my Charge 5, after about 90 minutes cycling the screen goes blank and it doesn't come back to like until it's plugged in.  When I've plugged it in, it will show 60 or 70% charge.  I need the tracker and clock to work while I'm exercising...otherwise it's pretty useless!
