Why is my charge5 pinging apple web sites

I have a Synology router that uses SPI.  And I have set very strict security rules.  Everyday, my charge5 and my wife's Luxe will repeatedly reach out to Apple  web sites which my router drops.  Why would my Charge5 be trying to reach an apple address: 17.253.125.203.?  What gives here.

Neither Charge 5 nor Luxe have any capability to reach out to any website; neither has wi-fi or cell phone capacity.

They each have bluetooth to connect to you phone, but that is all.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
