Won’t hold a charge again Charge 5

Charge 5 is about 1 year old. Had it replaced once for the same problem. The battery lasts less than one day.  Now the screen is a red circle with an X in the middle. I’ve never known that to be a good thing. Not sure of warranty status.

Thank you for all the information provided about this inconvenience with the Charge 5 display. 

Regarding the display being stuck with the red circle, please try completing a three pulse restart using the charging cable, as described here.  

If you get the screen working again, it is recommended to follow the recommendations listed in this article to improve or extend battery life as well. There are a few features that would make the battery drain faster than usual, even in one day, like built-in GPS,  Always On display, SpO2.

I’ve tried all those. The battery was fine one day and junk the next. This
happened before and fitbit sent me a new one. I’ll be calling to see if
there is any warranty left I’m really close to one year. Until then I’m
researching Garmin and will probably try them.
