Hey everyone so I have a Fitbit charge 5 watch and I love it but lately the battery has to be charged all the time and I'm talking with an hours. I have changed all the settings for the GPS for the auto on I have done everything that tech support has told me to do and I still have to charge this thing everyday I had it at 100% this morning and it is now 4:00 in the afternoon and it's down to 48%. This is ridiculous I've had this watch for about I'd say 2 years so what I'm wondering is how many people had to replace the watch in full or how do we know when the battery needs replacing?

I would say replace it, but Fitbit has gone downhill. I won't buy another Charge version.

Hi, @SunsetRunner It's a sad fact that wearable batteries do have a limited life span based on the number of charge/discharge cycles after which they degrade. If you've had your device less than two years you may have the benefit of What's Fitbit's return and warranty policy? - Fitbit Help Center this will depend on who you bought it from & your location. If you think you can move forward on the warranty you need to talk to "Customer Support", use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response.
Cheers
