I ordered a Charge 5 hook and loop band on 1/25/23. I love how slim it is. It fits great. However, last night the “Velcro” came unhooked in my sleep, and the Fitbit fell off my wrist. I overslept by 90 minutes, and I wondered why the smart alarm never went off. That’s when I realized the Fitbit wasn’t on my wrist anymore.
I had noticed the hook and loop material was not gripping as well when I fastened it over the past week or two.
I’m very disappointed that the band is already becoming unusable after less than a month of wear. I’m just grateful it fell off while I was at home, so I didn’t accidentally lose my Fitbit entirely.
This was a $34 band. It should last longer than 3 weeks!!

Hi @Writeasrain the band has a warry so get with support.
here are the support contacts I've gleaned over the years on the forums.
when there is someone available, chat is an option. Phone or Twitter works well, too.

Yeah, that's a common complaint with that band if you check Amazon reviews. I bought one and loved it for a few months. Very light & comfortable. But the velcro eventually stops holding well. If they could find a better adhesion method for that type of band, they'd have a winner.

Fitbit support is claiming that the band doesn’t meet replacement requirements. 😡 I wore it for three weeks at the most, and the band fell off in my sleep. How on earth is that normal?!
At least I wasn’t doing something active where I could have lost the Fitbit entirely when the band had failed. Back to the bulky sports band, I guess. I have child-sized wrists and really want a slimmer band.

I also have small wrists and often have trouble with watch bands being too long. I bought a pair of metal mesh bands that have a magnetic end as the clasp. This allows me to easily adjust the tightness of the band since it works similar to a velcro band. I've had no trouble with the band staying attached to my Charge 5.
The pair of bands was less than $20 on Amazon and come in a variety of colors. This might be an option for you to consider.
