the Fitbit download page shows "category" for the exercise period. It has no category for yard work. 2 days ago I was raking thatch from the yard and when I downloaded the days activities, it categorized the raking as 'swimming'. I'm just asking for a 'yard work' category to be added. Last month I was helping a concrete contractor pour a patio & sidewalk in our yard - there was no category for construction work or anything similar to properly categorize my activities.

I don't think those are in the exercise choices because they aren't conventional exercises 😄

Hello @ARVY56
There are a few options for you if you’re interested.
Firstly, you can rename an activity in the App on your phone. If you tap on it, then the white arrow at the top right of the screen across from Categorize Exercise, then start typing an activity in the Search Box, you can choose one and change it. I checked and Gardening is an option.
Secondly, if you don’t want things automatically recognized as Swimming you can remove Swimming from that category. Tap on Exercise in the App on your phone, then the cog icon in the top right of the screen, tap on Swimming and turn it off.
Thirdly, if you would like, you could set an exercise session directly from your Charge 5 by selecting an Exercise Shortcut and pressing Start and Finish. If you wanted to add an Exercise Shortcut you can also do that from the App on your phone.
From the Today screen, tap your profile picture, then Charge 5. Select Exercise Shortcuts then choose one you don’t use and delete it by swiping left. Then you can add a new one by tapping +Exercise Shortcuts and then syncing your Charge 5 to load it on. One option would be Workout or Outdoor Workout. You could change the name later as described above.
You could also make your own custom activity that would show up in the options in the Search Box when you Categorize Activity in the App on your phone. For this one you need to go to your Dashboard on Fitbit.com. Once there, tap on Log, then Activities and at the bottom of the list there is Create Custom Activity. In the box type the name of your choice and then Add Activity. Sync your Charge 5.
I hope all of that helps you a bit. It took a long to type.
