Went to play in the mountains where there is no cell service and discovered that the Charge 5 trackers won't sync to the app even though it's connected via Bluetooth.
I can't find any mention of that in the sales info. Think I've been ripped-off!
Imagine, a fitness tracker only for city folks! Well I guess they need it more than us outdoors type.

Hi @lwerman you can find more information in this article - click to read. Your Charge 5 will hold seven days of data before you need to sync. click and go to page 55 of the user manual .

I went on a cruise on the 3 Of June
and my daily fitbit is wrong and not working fit it to connect to my phone and Tablet I have a new phone number. Thanks

@lwerman I agree with you that this requirement isn't prominent on the Charge 5 page in the Fitbit store. But it is listed in the full features and specs. If you scroll down to the pink Full features & specs, this is in the Specs section: Syncing requires Bluetooth LE, an internet connection and location permissions granted on the phone. Your data is transferred using Bluetooth, but syncs to your account. All Fitbit models sync this way.
