Just upgraded from charge 3 to charge 5. When I start any type of work out, say a run, it doesn't seem to track my HR for first 10 mins. So I have usually ran a mile before it starts recording Active Zone minutes? Is this normal? Today I've done 32k steps and 15 miles. Reckons I've only done 63 active zone  mins, which cannot be right!?! My charge 3 never had these issues. Tempted to go back, but just spent £160 on the Charge 5. So far not impressed with it TBH.

No, @Kit1977  that doesn't sound normal.

Are you starting an exercise from the Charge 5 itself?  If you're not and it's using Auto- Recognition instead, it can take 10 or 15 minutes to kick in, depending on the settings you've got in your App.

Personally, I would set an Exercise Shortcut for anything you're planning to do, then tap on Exercise on your Charge 5, choose the right one, and press Start at the beginning.  That should hopefully solve the problem.  If you're controlling the Start and Stop times and type of Exercise, it should track accurately (at least mine seems to).

I hope that helps a bit.
