I admit, I don't exactly have the best sleep schedule, insomnia and ADHD/bipolar does that to you. I don't expect it to track every mini nap, although it used to, but last night I passed out from like 8 pm to 1:30 am and it didn't register it at all.

That sometimes happens when I haven't slept well.

I thought that I had not worn my fitbit charge 5 strap tight enough 🤔 But I can see this is a software issue.

I use mine exclusively for sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring (pedometers don't really work with mobility problems) and if it's not tracking my sleep, logic says it's not tracking my heart rate right. Which worries me.

Hello @buggycas
I've had nights where my Charge 5 didn't track all my sleep or broke my sleep into more than 1 log. When that happened, I edited the sleep log with my start & end times, deleting the extra logs as needed. After I finished making the edits, it usually took some time, an hour or 2, before my sleep log updated in the app with the revised score & sleep stages data.
I'm not sure why the disconnect between the Fitbit device & the app occasionally happens for sleep tracking, especially when the app will show the recorded data after I edit the log. It can get annoying when it happens, but at least editing the log updates the tracked data.

Having the same issue. Sleep tracking worked great for almost a year, then stopped two nights ago.

Sounds like planned obsolescence. They DID just have a software update, and they recently rolled out the Charge 6
