charge 5 works only on charge

My Charge 5 is 1 year 3 month old. As soon as I remove it from the charger it kills itself back to 1%. This started a couple days ago. I can't even wear it because it dies instantly as soon as I remove it from the charger or press the button on the USB cable to restart it. What can I do to fix? Disappointing !

Its so frustrating to differentiate this problem with sea of problems Charge 5 currently has. Is it Firmware issue/sw issue/a genuine battery issue..

@Fitbit Moderator/Team - can you guys help pls!
