percentage of heart rate training..is it possible in differant zones?

percentage of heart rate training..is it possible in to set these up in time intervals for training in the different zones...for ex 2mins in 60% of max heart rate...1min in 70% max heart rate..30 secs in 80% of max heart rate?

Hi, @pkrigging , unfortunately exactly that facility is not available.  You cannot pre set this as an interval.

Using Fitbit’s Active Zone Minutes you will get notifications when you are entering a new HR Zone, and I think that is the closest feature to what you are suggesting.  While you are working out your Fitbit will buzz as you enter a new zone: one buzz as you go into Fatburn, two buzzes for Cardio, and 3 buzzes for Peak.  So I guess you could self moderate your effort to get you there.

 

Otherwise you can set an interval workout, but there are only two settings - work alternating with rest.  You would need to monitor your HR during those intervals and adjust your effort.

 

If you would like something more exactly what you are suggesting, the best place to post would be the Feature Suggestion  area of the forums.  There you can explain your suggestions and other users can vote and comment.  The board is monitored by Moderators and popular feature suggestions are passed on to the developers.  The more popular the more likely it is to be implemented.
