AMEX will not add to wallet.

I can’t add an American Express card to the Google wallet on charge six. I added a visa with no problem but when I try and add American Express, it says an unknown error has occurred. This occurs after it says it’s contacting the bank.

Wow - it is a miracle!  I had given up, TBH.  LOL

I’m glad I subscribed to this thread.  When I saw this post and a couple of others, I gave it a go. Failed, contacting my bank.  Then I went to App Store, saw there was an update to the app 6 hrs ago, did the update, and now have my AMEX card once again on my FitBit.

I had some serious issues trying to get a device pin set, so I had to factory reset the Charge 6, after that it worked perfectly. Glad I was getting notifications from this thread. 🙂

Still no go for me. Amex cobalt or gold can't be added. Tried resetting watch, resetting Fitbit app, removing card from my Google wallet. Other MasterCard can be added no problem.
