Add Exercise to the App

I'd like to add Exercise to the app. The app is easier to use than the device. Don't remove Exercise from the Fitbit, add it to the app. Also let me retroactively add an exercise session via the app.

Hello @Jep1138

I'm a little confused by your post.

There's an Exercise tile in the Fitbit app under the Activity section called Exercise days.

Also, this page has the instructions on how to manually log an completed exercise that wasn't tracked by your Fitbit (<-- click link).

If you are having problems logging a complete exercise in the Fitbit app, there was an issue that affected our ability to do this. The team is aware of the issue and has been working on a fix. However, I haven't seen any updates on the timing for the fix.

Why is this request confusing? I want to use the app. I want the feature added to the app.

By the app, I mean the phone app. I never considered the built-in features of my Fitbit to be apps. Sorry for the confusion.

The Add Exercise feature on my Fitbit is lacking. I want to use the phone app because it's more convenient. I'd like to be able to Add Exercise after the fact. My Fitbit does not record my weight training sessions. It doesn't increase the estimate of calories burned. It does register an increase of my heart rate.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I'm returning to the phone app. I'd like to have an Add Exercise feature to the phone app. I want to use the phone app to record an exercise in progress or add an exercise afterward. The automatic exercise tracking works on my walks but not my weight training.

I hope that clears things up.

Hello @Jep1138

Did you have a chance to look at the link that I provided in my reply to you? It has the instructions on how to add an exercise to the Fitbit app after completion.

I think I'm in the wrong forum. I was offering a suggestion for a feature, not a request for help. But your link is helpful for the existing functionality.

Hello @Jep1138

My apologies for misunderstanding that you were trying to suggest a feature. The Product Feedback forum (<-- click link) is where you can submit feature requests.

When you submit your request, please consider replying to this thread with a link to your request so that other users can add their vote & comments.
