I have been a loyal Fitbit customer for years and recently purchased a charge 6 because my charge 5 broke. I am extremely disappointed that the charge 6 does not have music control. The next time I purchase a fitness watch, it won’t be a Fitbit if this hasn’t been resolved. Add music control back to all devices. Whatever deal made with YouTube music wasn’t worth it.

@Lstephens10 Google owns both Fitbit and YouTube. I'm not a Fitbit/Google employee, but I'm sure this explains it. I wear a Sense 2, another model that doesn't have a generic music control. The decision to add YouTube music is easy. The rationale for removing generic music control isn't. I listen to audiobooks while walking and I miss the control from my Fitbit.

The Youtube control only works if you pay for Youtube. It will not control it for free. I would guess they could have added control you tube free but they did not. My thinking is they are just trying to get people to pay for Youtube but that may be cynical

I'm sure they don't care, but I've also been a user of fitbit for years. I need my music. Fitbit doesn't really care about health, just money! I'll definitely purchase another brand in the future.
