Annoying new symbol pinging up and blocking date

Please can someone advise what this annoying new symbol/ feature is that's suddenly started pinging up and blocking the date every time I twist my wrist to turn on the display to see the date?

@James1000   The recent firmware update added status indicators to the Charge 6.  There are four of them.  They are supposed to disappear in a few seconds.  Your photo says that your Do Not Disturb is on.

• A crescent moon means your Sleep Mode is on 
• A white smartphone with a slash means you don’t have a Bluetooth connection to your phone 
• A red battery with a slash means your battery is critically low
