Anybody NOT have issues with the Charge 6?

I ordered a Charge 6 despite reading that people have an issue with it crashing and requiring hard resets, etc. Well, it also happened to me. After it happened multiple times the first week, I’m getting a replacement and returning the defective one.

Is anybody actually happy with the 6??? (I have heart issues and want the ECG without too many bells and whistles, which is why I keep going with these).

I’m just about done with Fitbit after almost ten years. Most recently, my Charge 5 suddenly died for good, so I went back to use my original Versa which was totally normal for two days then also suddenly died.

Kinda related to that stmt, my cardiologist cdnt understand why BP dn in office and up at home. One reason turned out to be my arm was not level with my heart when taking at home. So I fixed that, top # went from 150s to 130s. Happy with that.

My Charge 6 doesn’t register Activity Minutes. I’ve had no problems with Charge 5. Nothing I do to try to fix it seems to work.

Wow. Never been a problem for me. My biggest problem is not recording high heart rate. One time it did. But then I found where it does register the lowest and highest heart rate for a day but it doesn’t show til next day.
It won’t show an oxygen rate less than 80%. A couple other things are dependent on other factors. It is really a complicated app and it’s difficult to pick out where the problem originates. It works fine for me now but when I start physical therapy we’ll see if other parts of it are gonna be problem for me. I’m gonna be very careful & only initiate one thing at a time &watch for the glitches it might create. I’ll write dn everything I do so I can report and backtrack

I’m curious if you got it when it very first advertised or if you waited a few months. Do you supposed that could make a difference somehow? Got mine in Dec-Jan after first announced or first I heard of it anyway. Not sure when they first rolled out.

I received it as a Christmas gift. I was actually thinking of
purchasing something else and told the person who got it for me, but they
had already purchased it through Amazon's prime day sale. I am actually
thinking of going back to the simplistic pedometer. I like having the
technology the app has, but not if the technology doesn't work. Like the
food, the monthly exercise calendar. I have made my personal step goal for
1037 days and yet the calendar does not match. I know that nothing is
perfect, but close would be nice.

The best thing about the Charge 6, find my phone. Heart rate and graph work, but the other features don't work consistently.

If I find out any info, will let you know. I have had the Charge 6 since
mid-July and have talked to help twice. The answer I kept getting was "in
that case the softw,are is being fixed". 🙂

Never had to have repairs on my 3 or my 6. We returned one once for replacement. Would think that’s thing to do, not sure.

I agree, I am so disappointed. Doesn't track sleep except occasionally and
never real stats. (I sleep flat on my back, in a three foot wide space
surrounded by pillows and dog. I don't even mess up the covers, so I am not
a restless sleeper. No O2 readings, etc, etc.

Have had it since July 2024 and am disappointed in fitbit for not having a
fix.

No one paid me anything. It’s just the way I am I guess. I’m 75, retired and have plenty of time to “play around” with Fitbit and read everything. I have OCD and tend to be a perfectionist so I’m not into accepting defeat on much of anything. If it’s about FitBit I read it, even if it doesn’t pertain to my Charge 6. Like with my computer, I keep detailed notes especially if I’m experimenting so I can back myself out of anything that didn’t work. FitBit trackers need to be within 30’ of your phone to sync info from it to phone. If Oxygen level drops to 80% it will not track it. I never leave my app open unless I’m using it. I sync it manually to bring info like steps, from tracker to phone. Try changing arms and see if it works any better. Do you have sleep tracking sensitivity set at “high”, not sure if there’s 2 or 3 levels. Try adjusting that. I’m not sure what triggers restlessness during sleep but if I come up with anything I’ll post it. Movement of your arm will trigger steps to count. I don’t know anything about working out and exercise machines but I’ll be finding out soon as I start physical therapy in about 2wks
I may be cursing it like everyone else if I don’t perceive it to be right answers for what I do.

too was accused of being paid to be positive about my Charge 6.  I'm 79 so no one's going to pay me to do anything. 🙄

Like yourself, I read and learn. So far the C6 has given me very few problems, just the odd restart to sync which is what I would expect.  Should the 6 break, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with the same or latest Fitbit. 

It seems this thread is still going off topic. Perhaps someone should start a new one for those who are having problems.
