Anybody NOT have issues with the Charge 6?

I ordered a Charge 6 despite reading that people have an issue with it crashing and requiring hard resets, etc. Well, it also happened to me. After it happened multiple times the first week, I’m getting a replacement and returning the defective one.

Is anybody actually happy with the 6??? (I have heart issues and want the ECG without too many bells and whistles, which is why I keep going with these).

I’m just about done with Fitbit after almost ten years. Most recently, my Charge 5 suddenly died for good, so I went back to use my original Versa which was totally normal for two days then also suddenly died.

Thanks. I have done all of the things you have suggested. 🙂 Multiple
times. I have had medical issues and I would like to monitor my sleep
stats, myO2, etc. but seldom get anything bur resting HR and BPM.

I never have a problem with the sleep log, the stats are there every day.  Whether they're correct is an unknown as there's no way for me to tell.

.Occasionally the Sp02 figure is late arriving but it always turns up before the end of the day.

Heart rate variability is always available and those are the three most important things to me in addition to keeping up my 10,000 steps a day.

These are the important stats to me , as well. I pretty much only get heart
rate and resting HR and nothing else. 😕

Have you tried troubleshooting the app?  https://support.google.com/android/answer/2668665. It might possibly help.

Did you get a good reply? I have 4 and had 2 charge 6. I loved the 6 but they both crashed and I’m back to my 4. Any news about a new updated reliable model? Thanks

I have not gotten any answers that solve the issues. Good answers, yes , but fixes didn't work. NOTE: Night before last, I had the first full set of results since I bought it in July. Resting HR (which I usually get), oxygen saturation,Heart rate variability, skin  temperature, breathing rate, sleep duration, and sleep score.  Sorry, haven't heard anything about any updates.

Penny-

Yes, several times and several days. No luck. Thanks.

The replacement is holding up but in order for it to synch with the app I
have to force a stop and restart regularly.

The only time I've had problems synching is when I forget to turn off Bluetooth on any other nearby devices.  My C6 will cosy up to any Bluetooth device other than the one I want.  Other than that and an occasional delay in loading oxygen saturation stats, I've still had no problems.

I don't know about you but since getting this charge 6, I have a lot of anxiety and panic problems. I've even written to ambulances and doctors offices and gyms testing out my heart rate compared to this + always puts up my heart rate like by 20 more beats per minute. Not impressed with this at all

I finally talked to a knowledgeable support person. She understood the
issues I was having and authorized a replacement. None of the "in that
case, the software is being fixed". Will keep this updated as I see how the
new one works.

I have a Charge 6 and had zero problem.  I bought my wife one and it had some problems.  It kept disconnecting.  I was about to send it back. But after resetting and updating a couple of times, it seems to be stable now.  So yeah, I'm very happy with my Charges.  The battery is holding.  I charge it only once a few days.  Something that you can't do with smartwatches.

If your Charge 6 or other health sensing device seems inaccurate, use an oximeter to double check your pulse. That was advice I got from medical personnel. If it matches within 10 beats okay. If more than 10 beats off, use the oximeter reading and IGNOR your wrist unit reading. Document these events and then call write or email for a replacement unit as it is obviously at fault. These are NOT medical devices and should not be taken seriously enough to cause you anxiety.

I’m happy with my charge 6 even tho it does throw temper tantrums every once in awhile. Recently I spent 3 days trying to Sync it before finally righting itself and syncing. I was determined to not go thru all the trouble of disconnecting and reconnecting and losing info etc. As a “just in case” help, my PCP, who wears a FitBit, does copy my Wellness Report into my file. My cardiologist, who does not wear or use anything like a Fitbit, wants NO PART of it. Both Drs work out of same office. Lol.

I used 2 charge 6 because I loved my charge 4 and initially loved my charge 6 due to better features but they both crashed and Fitbit customer service took care of me and in the end refunded me. I am currently wearing my 5 year old charge 4, hoping that Fitbit comes out with a new version
