A recent article ( https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/29/health/heart-health-steps-smartwatch.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&... discussed a study of the improved predictive value of calculating average daily heart rate per daily steps, over the value of simply looking at heart rate or steps per day alone. The study used Fitbit data, but I cannot figure out how to find an “average daily heart rate” or “total heart beats per day” on my dashboard. I cannot see resting heart rate, and I can see range of heart rate, and I can see time in zones, but nothing seems to provide average daily heart rate or the total heart beats per day from which I could calculate the figure. If this is available, can someone point me in the right direction?

Hello @01012021 and welcome to the Community. Researchers have access to detailed Fitbit data when they do studies like this. They use their research tools to calculate average heart rate and total heart beats per day. The Fitbit app doesn't give either piece of information.
You can find your resting heart rate in two places. Tap on your heart rate tile and it is below your heart rate graph. It is also one of your Health Metrics.
