I just bought a brand new Charge 6 because my 1-year old Charge 5 stopped tracking distance. So you can imagine I’m pretty upset the new 6 is not tracking distance either. So do I return this now? You only have a limited time to return. Not sure they’ll get this worked out quickly if ever. Don’t get how it’s worked for all these years and now nothing. Disappointed might need to find alternative to Fitbit products.

Hello @frito1977
There's a known issue on the Fitbit side that affects distance tracking. The team is aware of the issue and has been working to fix the problem.
One user doing troubleshooting discovered that they were able to see distance in the Fitbit app again when they turned off automatic stride and entered a manual stride length in the Fitbit app. If you would like to try this workaround, this help page has the instructions on how to set a manual stride length in the Fitbit app (<-- click link) . Although many users had success with this workaround, it didn't work for everyone. It might still be worth a try.
