The heart rate on my Fitbit versa was really wonky… it would say my heart rate is much higher than it really was and then would freeze or show “- -“… I made the mistake of buying a brand new charge 6 Fitbit thinking that maybe I just needed to upgrade. But I’m having similar issues. Resting heart rate supposedly very high (it wasn’t) and then not registering heart rate at all. It just says “- -“. I have tried everything, resetting my fitbits, deleting and redownloading the app, turning on and off the heart rate features, adjusting where the bands sit, and cleaning it. It hasn’t improved anything. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?
thanks!

I would suggest that you attempt to adjust the tightness of the fitbit on your wrist. It must have a good amount of contact with the body to maintain the ability to read the heart rate for the best results. I have a fiend who had the same experience and the outcome was successfully resolved by adjusting the tightness of the fitbit. It was a solution for him so I would recommend that and let me know if you are successful with the solution.
