Buying a Charge 6 in a country in which they stopped selling new Fitbits

I am from a country in Europe in which they stopped selling new Fitbit products.

If I were to order a Charge 6 from Amazon and set its location to Europe on the app (as I currently have it on my Charge 5), would it work properly? Would I receive support and software/firmware updates?

I appreciate any and all informative answers. Thanks a lot!

Here is the official announcement from Google regarding halting sales in Europe and intended support: Fitbit update - EU (<-- click link) 

According to the announcement, Google will still provide software releases, security updates, warranty fulfillment, and access to customer service.
