Hello, as I understand it, notifications for high/low heart rate detections are on the watch itself. Is it possible to get alerts/notifications on the mobile handset connected via the app too?

@Bfke @aravinth0 There seems to be an issue with these notifications. A moderator said that Fitbit is aware of the problem. Over the last few months, I got three low heart rate alerts, but I didn't get the app notification.

Hi @LZeeW thanks for the response. Do I understand you correctly that there is supposed to be a notification on the app on the connected mobile phone as well as directly on the device? This is what I am trying to figure out. But I think you are staying that it is currently inconsistent recieving the notification on the mobile phone app?

@Bfke Your heart rate notifications are (supposed to be) in one of the sections under the You tab. Tap on your You tab > look in Health assessments and swipe left. I set a low heart rate notification. I tap on View history to see a list of notification dates. See my image in this post. Sorry, I deleted the original screenshot.

@Bfke Welcome to the community forums. @LZeeW Thanks for your help!
@Bfke Thanks for sharing this information. While we had an issue with the Afib notifications history not showing up, the issue you're experiencing seems different. Just to confirm, do you refer to the high and low notifications? I'm asking this as these notifications aren't currently supported by the Charge 6. You can find more information here.
On the other hand, if you're referring to the Afib notifications, may I know if the Fitbit app is updated? Have you also tried the steps suggested by @LZeeW? What do you see there?
In the meantime, I'd recommend rebooting your phone to ensure the Fitbit app will work correctly.

@LizzyFitbit I think your linked Help article is incorrect. The Charge 6 manual says that high/low heart rate alerts are available.
Like I wrote, I received three low heart rate alerts over the past several months. I never got the notification in my app. This has been going on for months. I have restarted my phone for other reasons and received several app updates. No new notifications in my low heart rate alerts.

This issue appears to be ongoing. The Fitbit app used to present the low heart rate notifications and a link to the data within the app. However, the notifcations still show up BUT quickly disappear and the data is nowhere to be found. Very frustrating for those of us with a Bradycardia issue. The Fitbit app has gone downhill with all of their useless changes while removing essential information. Good luck Fitbit.

Here it is February 2025 and there have been several posts (now closed) with the issue running back pre-2024, per posters. My Charge 5 will indicate low heart rate - and the device offers to ignore or open in app. I have NEVER seen any history in the APP! Yes, I know where to look and it says “No notifications”. I use the cardiac functions often due to AFIB, but the meds are now causing my resting HR to sink into the 40s. Seems many people still have this issue. Fitbit?
