Can't connect to Charge 6

I have had Charge 2 for several years and just bought charge 6. I disabled the Charge 2 on phone and PC (I think) but can't get the Charge 6 on either. I'm sure I am doing something wrong, but don't see how to add my new tracker to phone or PC

Hi @NancyBethLight you can't set up or sync to a computer since changes were made. Also, the Charge 5 requires you to have a Google account and not use your Fitbit account. This article will tell you how to set up your new Charge 6 - click to go there

Hello @n_ilsson

Last year, Fitbit/Google announced that all Fitbit users will need to migrate their accounts to a Google account by 2025. New Fitbit users are now required to have a Google account for Fitbit. Users purchasing a new Fitbit device, like the Charge 6, also have to use a Google account.

I had to change to a google account when I upgraded to a charge 6 now I can’t use any of my Fitbits including the charge 6, I have sent my charge 6 back received a replacement and now the replacement doesn’t work either, they just want to keep sending me replacements it there is obviously something very wrong somewhere, possibly within their app but no one seems to be doing anything to rectify the problem. Worse thing Fitbit ever did was allow google to take them over!!

I do have a Google account, but I want to connect to Fitbit on my PC. I don't understand the instructions, it seems that they are only for a phone.

@NancyBethLightyou can't connect your Fitbit to your computer. You can go to the website and view your dashboard, but all set up and syncing must be done using your smartphone.
