Hello! My Fitbit battery started draining fast last week. I went online and I can’t turn the GPS feature “off.” It’s stuck on “on.” I’ve deleted my Fitbit twice and downloaded it again. There doesn’t seem to be any option to not enable the GPS feature. Help! I don’t want the battery to drain so quickly

Hello there @Bobfrog, welcome to the Fitbit Forums.
Thanks a lot for all the effort you've invested in getting this situation resolved. I really appreciate your help.
As a first approach, and considering that this might be a one-time glitch, I recommend performing a restart of your Charge 6. Please follow the instructions described here.

Thank you for your help! Resetting the Fitbit did not work- the GPS feature cannot be turned off. I have to recharge it everyday.

Hey there @Bobfrog, thanks for being back.
Considering that the regular restart didn't work, I suggest performing a factory reset.
This will erase all data that hasn't been synced with the app before, so please make sure to sync the device before performing the factory reset.

Ok, I did a factory reset too. Nothing has changed- in the online settings, there is no option to turn GPS off. I’m wondering if I should change the GPS setting on my Fitbit from “dynamic” to “phone.”

@Bobfrog Thanks for confirming that you have tried the suggested steps.
Actually, what you suggested is a really good idea. If you haven't done so yet, please give it a try and let me know how it goes.

That didn’t work, either. I’m turning off the Bluetooth when I’m sleeping and at work. That keeps the battery from draining so quickly but it’s kinda inconvenient.
