Champagne gold looks silver

I just received my new Charge 6 and specifically ordered the gold case so it would match my other jewelery.  However the case looks silver to me.  I only ordered the Coral band as it came with the gold case and was planning to change the strap to a nicer colour.

Is the champagne gold colour very like silver or did I get the wrong one?

Also the free sports strap according to the confirmation email is on back order to 10/11/2023.  Any idea if fitbit emails use US dates and it will arrive shortly or is it not due to ship until 10 November?

I would love to be able to help you with this. I also ordered the champagne gold version and I have a silver charge 5 I could compare it with. Sadly as my charge 6 is one of the ones being delayed I don't have it in my hands yet.

I did think the gold looked less brassy on the photos than it does on the charge 5 models but I can't tell from that if it would look silvery in person.

The next best thing I can do for you is bump your question so it doesn't get lost.

Thanks for the reply. I contacted Fitbit support and they requested a photo. It actually looks more gold in the picture than in reality. I guess it’s just a very light gold colour so don’t expect it to match your gold rings.

Ahh mine's just arrived. Side by side they do both look silvery and it's surprisingly hard to tell which is which. From a distance it's easier to see the new one is warmer toned but you're right, it's definitely not a gold-jewellery gold.

Just received my  "gold" Charge 6...also ordered to match my yellow gold jewelry (even though the strap is an orange color...as I planned to change it). None of the local stores had this model 6 for comparison. I thought there had been some strange error because the case didn't look gold to me. I see the comments, though. Actually, the back of the watch charging area is a lovely yellow gold, and the side inserts of the case are more yellow. The angle of the box photo taken also makes the watch look more yellow gold than it is. I previously had a Charge HR that was a rose gold special edition...loved it. It came with both a lavender and a black strap. When that watch stopped working, I replaced it with a Luxe (on sale), which I did not like at all. So I waited for the Charge 6.  Disappointing, but I'll keep this 6...rather than wait for the Charge 7 of who know's what color.

Just received one today - because yet another fitbit did not even make it to the two year mark (My charge 5 about 18 months old died). Totally agree. It's silver. I can't even see a cast of gold on it. Kind of annoyed cause I don't like the coral color strap that it comes with (would wayyy prefer white, gray/blue) but I got it for the gold. I think it's a real misstep on this version to not have a proper gold casing. But, I had to get one to replace my broken one so I guess it is what it is - til this one breaks, probably at 13 months!

I personally really like the colour. I currently have a luxe and was thinking about upgrading to the new charge 6 but didn’t know what colour I wanted. So i appreciate the comparison. 🫶🏻

Also upset that my fitbit charge 6 is SILVER. There's a slight gold tinted inlay on the sides but that's it. Maybe its a warm silver, but its definitely silver and I'm not happy about it (since I also, like you, wear gold).

I'm upset too.  I dont like the coral strap and only got it for the gold casing as my old charge 4 also had a gold.  I went back to the store to exchange it as it looks 100% silver to me.  They said that is the gold colour.  I didn't believe them, then came across this thread.  I think that this is absolutely false advertising from fitbit.   Had I known this before I would have purchased the black one.

Yup totally not cool of them 😔 past ones were actually gold.
