Charge 5 "bricked" itself X 2 - is Charge 6 better.

I have a Charge 5 I purchased new in Sept 2022. It bricked itself about 6 months later and I was sent a new device under warranty. That device just bricked itself. I contacted FB Customer Support and they were less than helpful. It seems like the root problem is that there is a root issue that causes the Charge 5 to just suddenly start gobbling battery and then die. It seems like this is a fundamentally defective device and for some reason FB is just pretending its not an issue. I asked if there was some reason the average lifespan of a Charge 5 seems to be 8 months and they gave a "we always aim to deliver a quality device".

At any rate - since the warranty is from time of purchase and not on the actual device (because number 2 lasted like 9 months), FB has offered me the opportunity to purchase a new device at half off. Acknowledging that my choices are to just leave FB all together (again FB client support was like OK that's an option good luck), I'm obviously not buying another Charge 5. Has anyone had a similar problem (there are lots of posts out there complaining that Charge 5 is just a really bad device and it does this) and switched to Charge 6. If I get Charge 6 with my discount (and acknowledge my next device will not be a FB since obviously they are like... "whlep it do be like that" when they have created a fundamentally flawed device)... have folks had a better experience?

I honestly haven't and I own both devices.  That said, if you like the Charge 5 interface, the Charge 6 is only marginally different, in the sense that it offers Maps navigation and YouTube Music.
