My charge 6 isn’t charging properly even after being left on charge for over 4 hours it runs down the same day I have only had it since Xmas I have cleaned the ports as suggested but no success

If you aren't using any of the battery draining settings and are still having rapid battery drain, you should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link). It could be that you have a defective device.
