Charge 6 ECG Won't Set Up

Have just purchased the Charge 6 and it all seems to connect fine with my iphone 13 with the exception of the ECG App.

The iphone App says the ECG app is all set to go, permissions set etc. But the Charge 6 always says it can't find the phone.

I have uninstalled the app, reset the Charge 6 reinstalled and so but can't get anywhere with this (in the UK so location shouldnt be an issue). If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!

Welcome to the community forums, @IrinaSem.

Thanks for the detailed information, and the troubleshooting steps that you've tried prior to posting. While I'm glad the rest of the features are working, I'm sorry this isn't the case with the ECG app. As you mentioned, this app is supported in your country and it should be working well. Given this situation, I went ahead to check your details and it seems you already have a case created. Please keep an open communication with them, I'm sure our Support team will continue helping you with this matter.

Welcome to the forums, @vasundhara.

Thanks for sharing this information. This is odd as the ECG app should be supported in your location. Because this isn't your case, I'd recommend the following steps to see how it goes:

  1. Open the Fitbit app, tap Devices at the upper left corner > Charge 6
  2. Tap on Gallery > Apps > ECG and uninstall the app
  3. Forget your Charge 6 from the Bluetooth settings of your phone
  4. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone
  5. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync
  6. Reinstall the ECG app making sure all permissions are enabled. Then, try taking a reading one more time
