Charge 6 ECG not working because of unnecessary roadblocks

Many of you might have bought the charge 6 and this is my first fitbit.
I got this after researching for a ECG enabled smartband.
So my first priority was to get my ECG reading.
But before I could get to that I had to waste 1 hour to charge the new band and then connect to the latest app as of mid Dec 2023. It wasn't a seamless process at all.
When it was finally set up I went to try the ECG. There it kept showing can't connect to the phone even though it was syncing. That was just tip of the iceberg.
I connected to the fitbit support but they couldnt help much. They asked to open the gallery on fitbit app and uninstall reinstall ECG. But the problem was Gallery kept saying I have no internet connection. The irony!

Before that going through many threads on fitbit community who kept saying restart/uninstall fitbit/ clear cache etc. none of them worked.

Then I found a thread which said they had ad blocker on their phone which was causing this issue. I had a private DNS set up which I had to switch off and then it finally opened.
But then, it kept showing i couldn't uninstall the ECG app. And that just got the best of me. I uninstalled the fitbit app so many times. Downloaded previous version of Fitbit app and whatnot. None of them working to my favour. Restarted the band , the phone my wifi and mobile data. None worked. Eventually I found a comment on fitbit subreddit of someones charge 5 doing this kind of thing. And there someone commented the wifi band should be 2.4 GHz instead of 5Ghz and all the other frequencies LTE and 5G works in. So after so many hours of doing hundreds of troubleshoots i finally switched the wifi band to 2.4 GHz and et voila, ECG uninstalled from the Gallery from the Fitbit app. And finally i could read my ECG while sitting on my chair in my study instead of visiting a hospital.

I hope moderator conveys these frustrations to the app support team as well as the app couldn't function proper with ad block enabled.

TLDR: Got Fitbit C6 for ECG reading. Couldn't do it as the hurdles were ECG not working out of the box, adblock on phone, wifi 2.4 Ghz not connected to my phone.

@nairitprachanda are you from India? How's your experience so far with Charge 6?

Yeah I'm from india, the band itself is good but some complaints like SPO2  only measuring during sleep, no good integration with pixel even though both being google devices and sync isn't very reliable

Sounds like an issue related to your DNS settings and Wi-Fi than a Fitbit issue. I use Wi-Fi and both 2.4 and 5Ghz work fine for me using the app.
