Charge 6 - Hourly Activity Sync Issues

My Charge 6 is synced to my iPhone 13 mini. I don't expect perfection, but it has worked pretty well over the last 3-4 years or so. Recently, I have this problem where the Charge 6 confirms my hourly target of 250 steps complete and yet the App shows a lower amount and the target NOT complete.

See photos from today. I have achieved the target on all hours, yet the App is short by many steps. How can this occur? IS there a way to fix this problem? Yes, I have re-set and re-paired both devices 20260407_145903000_iOS.jpg20260407_145919000_iOS.jpg20260407_181503000_iOS.jpg

Hello @MartE03

When this happens to me, what I do is:

  • Tap the device icon in the upper left of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Tap Charge 6 tile on the page that opens
  • Tap Reminders to move under Settings
  • Turn off Get reminders
  • Return to the Today page and do a manual sync
  • Repeat the above step and turn on Get reminders
  • Return to the Today page and do a manual sync
  • Restart the Charge 6

I realize that the above instructions is more for ensuring that you get the hourly reminder if you haven't completed your steps. For me, this has also helped with getting the device and the app better aligned on step tracking.

Still, every now & then, the app and my Fitbit don't match on the hourly step count. When this starts occurring, I tend to double check in the app, after syncing, to make sure that I met the hourly goal.
