Charge 6 - How to change the clock face

I just bought a Fitbit Charge 6. How do I change the clock face on this model?

Congratulations on your new Charge 6!

To change your clock face:

• With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab and then devices icon and then "Charge 6".
• Tap Gallery and then Clocks tab.
• Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want and then Install.

Sounds easy however the 'today' tab does NOT work at all. I believe  this is where all the apps live but I cannot access any of them because the "today" tab doesn't work. How do I fix this issue?

Could you share a screenshot of what you see when you open the Fitbit app (the first tab)?

Please check if you can update the Fitbit app too.
