It's still auto-tracking walking even after I have disabled all exercise auto recognition in the app. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello @fibitLee and welcome to the Community. The Charge 6 has an additional auto detection feature for three shortcuts: walk, run and bike. Walk/Run/Bike Detect turns on the Exercise app when these activities are detected. Please look for the following setting:
Charge 6 manual: Exercise and Heart Health
Laurie | Maryland
Sense 2, Luxe, Aria 2 | iOS | Mac OS
Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

@LZeeW This is wrong information. Even with the Exercise app deleted from the device, the auto-detect of walks still occurs on the Charge 6.
This is a bug. There are many threads about it, and it is always auto-detection of walks that never go away.
I'm having the same problem. Hopefully they will get it fixed. It drives me nuts that everytime I leave my desk, that stupid thing turns on, even though it's disabled in the app.
I hope so. That is my gripe also. I don't care about distance at all. I like to watch my heart rate, number of zone minutes, and seeing what time it is. Like you say, we can't do any of that. Stinks!
This DOES NOT HELP! When will this get fixed. After 5 years of Fitbits, I'm ready to throw this one in the garbage and switch everything to Apple,
