Okay, definitely checked all the forums and Google. And I saw the answer. Put 6 on the charger and tap the flat logo on back of charger 3 times with one second in between. Screen will go off and then show logo.
THIS is not working. For people who have success on it to reset the device, how are you doing it? How short or long between preses? Lol.

I appreciate your messages, and I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing troubles regarding the restart of your devices.
I'll be happy to explain the restarting process of the Fitbit Charge 6.
Another way to restart your device is to unplug it, wait a second, and plug it back in. Repeat this process 3 times in an 8 seconds interval and then wait 10 seconds until the device restarts.

My Charge 6 wouldn’t sync and wouldn’t reset my steps at the end of the day. I followed instructions on this forum but was pushing the button on the side of the fitbit, not on the charger. I updated my app and depressed the button on the charger cable 3 times. Lo and behold my fitbit reset and synced with the app! Thanks for the help but originally it wasn’t clear to me that the button was on the charger cable, not the fitbit.
