fitbit charge 6
After doing some research on the internet, I think the settings are correct.
The smartphone is a Pixel 8 Pro, and the previous charge 5 displayed the route without any problems.
I replaced it with charge6 and from that day on, the route no longer appears on the app.
I contacted Fitbit support via email, but have not received a response.
I think there is a problem with the device, so I would like to have it replaced.

Hi, @まあたん in order to see the route you need to turn GPS on. On your charge 6 go to the exercise app. Choose walk. Instead of starting the walk immediately swipe up until you see GPS. Toggle that button to ON. Once you have done that it will remain the default setting and next time you take a walk, as long as the GPS is able to connect (it can be a bit temperamental) you will have a route shown for your walk once you sync to your app.
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums.

Thank you for your reply.
I set it up using the method you taught me, but the route is not displayed.
I did the same thing with charge5 and the route was displayed.

Hi, @まあたん when you take a walk if you want to see your route your need to make sure you either start your walk using the exercise app, or you get a message on your wrist after some minutes of walking that a walk is detected and the exercise app has launched. You also should get a message (again from your Fitbit on your wrist) that GPS is trying to connect, and then that it has connected.
If you don’t see these messages, then your exercise app won’t launch and/or GPS hasn’t connected. In that case your walk will be detected by SmartTrack, and you will not get a map of your route.

No matter what I do, the walking route is not displayed in the Fitbit app on my smartphone.
I think it's probably a problem with the charge6 hardware.

Any solution for this? Experiencing the exact same issue on my family member's charge 6. The map is displayed but totally inaccurately and it doesn't show the correct finish point.

We shouldn't HAVE to do anything; the upgrade has obviously caused the problem and we need to be sent a patch to fix it or another upgrade needs to be done.

@Kazclementsthe Charge 6 has Auto Walk detect, with the option to turn on GPS. By default, it takes 15 minutes before a walk will be detected. I changed this default to 10 minutes. I also turned the GPS option on, which can rely on your phones GPS or the GPS on the tracker. Your phone, with its larger antenna is the better option.

Same problem for me. My Charge 3 worked fine using the GPS on my phone, but my new Charge 6 with internal GPS turned ON does not show the route I walked. How can I tell if the internal GPS is working?

I just tried a Walk using the phone GPS, still no map is displayed. Lots of stats are displayed for the walk (e.g. steps and heart rate info), but no map. I don't even see a spot where a map would be displayed by the app. Has this been removed from the app?

I even Uninstaller and reinstalled onto my phone and reset my watch and still nothing. Love my fitbit and really want to see the map cause it shows how my walk was. Can someone PLEASE help me, its so frustrating not to see the map anymore. All I see is the stats but would like to see how I did on my walk.

On your charge make sure GPS is on for your exercise. You need to turn it on for each exercises
After starting the walk, there will be an iced n showing that the Charge 6 is searching for a gps signal. This icon will then have a Liverpool be through it if a GPS lock failed.
