Charge 6 - Last android update caused issues on device

  • My charger 6 was affected by a Samsung S22 update on Sunday,  3.15.26. It messed up synching and battery.  The time kept flipping back an hour then ahead.  I now can't get 1 day's charge.  When I reconnect it to the charger, the logo came on and it says there's a good charge of 62% left  but the fitbit app said 3% and the watch would not come on.  Please help.

Hi @Lobosgris73, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with the issue you are experiencing in regards to the battery and syncing of your Charge 6. Thank you for the troubleshooting you have already tried.

Battery life should last up to 7 days. However, because it's affected by use and features such as always-on display and GPS results may vary. With that being said, we recommend some Tips to extend your Fitbit device's battery life.

In regards to the battery issues, i recommend that you follow the tips contained in our help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the battery suddenly drops from 62% to 3%, check if your device is updated by following the instructions from our help article How to update your Fitbit device.

All these options have been tried. This did not address that this was an immediate change to the functioning of the watch after an automatic update was done to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S22).

Hi @Lobosgris73,  thank you for your response and for having tried our suggestions already.

The Android update done to your mobile should not have any impact on the performance of your Fitbit device. If you're still experiencing syncing and battery life issues with your Charge 6, my best recommendation at this point is to contact Tech Support. They count with the most appropriate resources to provide you with more in-depth assistance.
