Charge 6 (New) - Wont Charge for the first time.

I got the fitbit charge 6 today. I kept it oon charge, it started and i was able to pair it to my fitbit app o my movbile.

But the charging was too slow. it took around 35 mins to charge to 4 percent. The screen was on and i could see the charging till then. but suddenly while in 4% being charged its screen went dark and I couldnt even sync it with the app.

I removed it from charge and put it back, it again started from 1% like before. and the same happened when it came to 4%.

Any idea why this is happening?

Hi @meltedhyperion.  It sounds like your Fitbit has a defective battery.  Please contact Support for more help.

One thing more to mention. Every time I connected it on charge and sync it with my phone. It used to ask for Firmware update. Even though I had connected it on charge and it was charging, it still used to say that in order to start the update the fitbit should be charged and connected to the charger.

Anyways, i have sent it back to Google for replacement. Hoping that this time I won't get a damaged device 🙂 @Fitbit
