Charge 6 No heart rate or led lights

ANSWERED

Just bought and setting up charge 6 for the wife on her iPhone.

Can't get heart rate at all. ECG says "Error reopen app".EDA scan says "Device not on wrist".

Heart rate is "on"

I restarted device. I factory reset and tried it on my android. Same issue.

I've also noticed I've No Green leds. So what am I not doing. Any help appreciated 👍🏼

Hello @Zale82

If you are not seeing a green light on the back of the Charge 6, it sounds like you have a defective device. The green light is the heart rate sensor.

If you are still within the return window from where you bought the Charge 6, you should return it for a replacement.

So was it on your wrist?

Although on some devices, maybe all, the green light goes off when it is not in contact with your skin, so you can't really tell anything by taking it off and looking for the light.  Sort of like opening the refrigerator door and wondering why the light stays on all the time.

Thanks for the replies 😎.

I definitely don't have Green leds. I've a Samsung watch and my daughter has an old Fitbit. You can see the Green leds when wearing it if you bend your wrist. Ive played around with all day and wore it last night and got zero readings from it.

I'm within the warranty window so will look for a replacement 👍🏼

Having the same issue. Google led me to this thread. Will also return and get a new one.

I was having the same issue and resolved it by doing the following:

  • Disable heart rate in the settings
  • Restart the watch
  • Enable heart rate

I tried everything but in the end nothing worked so I returned it and got my money back. 👌🏼😎
