I have been experiencing issues with my Fitbit Charge 6 for months where -by it fails to track sleep the majority of the time and when it finally does attempt to track sleep, the data is changed or completely disappears within the next 24 hours.
I have followed the following steps when attempting to troubleshoot the lack of sleep tracking (in no particular order):
restarted fitbit, updated fitbit software, ensured fitbit app is updated on the phone(s) it was connected to, Reset the fitbit data, ensured fitbit was fully charged, modified position on wrist prior to sleep, changed wrist the device was worn on, attempted wearing device on ankles, Ensured sensors were clean. Shaved all hair from near where fitbit was worn, Changed the strap used back to the factory provided strap. changed the device the fitbit was connected to.
