My new Charge 6 will not receive notifications. Have been through all the remedies (ensuring enabled on iPhone, set up correctly in Fitbit app, toggle notifications off and on again, reboot phone, reboot Charge 6, toggle Bluetooth off and an again etc etc)

Update….Fitbit support was pretty good. Sent me a set of around a dozen steps to resolve the issue. Although I had already been through them all (albeit in a different order), this time it worked. Just know, there are many settings (on iPhone anyway) that have to be reviewed and possibly adjusted.

Thanks for letting us know that you were able to resolve your issue, with Fitbit support's help. As I've seen from a few other posts, getting notifications in one's Fitbit with iOS platform requires additional steps to get it to work.

I SOLVED THIS!
I had the same issue.
Even though I restarted the phone it was not working. However, I disabled notifications from Fitbit App. Later, I enabled it again and it asked me to allow access to notifications (standard Android procedure, from the phone). After that, It started working again!
Hello, just wondering do you have to have the fitbit app running in the background of your phone to receive phone/message notifications? I can receive them if the app is 'open' in the background but not if i swipe it away. (iPhone 13mini)
Best AnswerFitbit support advised me they were aware of the issues re notifications on the charge 6 and once the team had rectified the problem they would send out an update. They did not give a timescale for the problem to be resolved.
Best AnswerSame here, very annoying. I get notifications from Apple apps like iMessage and apple calendar, but not from other apps like whatsapp or gmail. They don’t appear in the ‘app notifications’ list. I guess we have to wait for an update.
