Device: Fitbit Charge 6 App: Fitbit Mobile App
Summary of Bug: I am reporting that the known, long-standing bug with repeating alarms on the Charge 6 is still present and easily reproducible. This bug renders the repeating alarm feature completely non-functional. The issue occurs when any repeating alarm is set to include the following day.
Steps to Reproduce:
Go to the Alarms app on the Fitbit Charge 6.
Create a new alarm.
Set the alarm to repeat on multiple days, specifically including "Tomorrow" (e.g., if today is Sunday, set it to repeat on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).
Save the alarm.
Actual Result (The Bug): The alarm toggle immediately turns gray and inactive. If I try to tap the toggle to turn it "on," it instantly flips back to the "off" position. The alarm is never active.
Further Testing and Confirmation: I have confirmed this is tied to the "tomorrow" setting.
Test 1: If I set a single, non-repeating alarm for tomorrow, it turns orange and works correctly.
Test 2: If I am on a Sunday and set a repeating alarm for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (skipping "tomorrow," which is Monday), the alarm toggle turns orange and appears active.
Test 3 (The key problem): However, when the day rolls over to Monday, that same alarm from Test 2 (which is now set for "tomorrow," Tuesday) will turn gray and deactivate itself without me changing anything.
This proves that any repeating alarm breaks as soon as it is scheduled for the next day.
Additional Information:
This feature worked perfectly when I first bought the device. This bug was introduced in a later software update.
I have already tried all standard troubleshooting (restarting the device, clearing user data, etc.) and it does not fix the problem.
In the Fitbit app, I also noticed the alarm settings showed an incorrect date of "January 1," which seems related to this glitch.
I bought this device only for this smart alarm. I don't necessarily need other features!!!! Please fix it !!!!!!
