Charge 6 Reset PIN, but error connecting to Fitbit

Hi, I forgot my PIN so I had input the wrong PIN several times until I got a message on the Fitbit to unlock by phone. I reset the PIN using the device unlock option, then I got an error saying 'Can't connect to Charge 6'. 

I already tried re-installing the app, restarting the Fitbit, wifi, mobile data, to no avail. Please help.

Try removing the Charge 6 from the list of trusted Bluetooth devices 

Do you have the pin to protect the whole watch, or just Google wallet?
