When I bought the Charge 6 I has a Pixel 7. For over a week it tracked my sleep properly. It detected when I wasn't dead a sleep and when I was awake.
That Pixel 7 broke and I had to switch to my 5 year old Moto G power and now the sleep tracking is flat lined. Meaning, all of my sleep is "deep sleep" now.
Is there any way to address this without a new phone? I thought the Fitbit did this by itself

Hi @tangonov. I'm glad to know your Pixel 7 is running again. I'm sorry to know your sleep data is still not detailed as usual.
Then the fact you are not getting sleep stages and just a sleep log instead, may be related to to some of the reasons listed in our help article What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages? below the section "Why aren’t my sleep stages showing up today?"
In addition, restart your Charge 6 if you haven't done it yet:
- Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app .
- Tap the Settings app and then Restart Device and then Restart.

Welcome @tangonov to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your sleep data. Thank you for the details about your experience.
If you had to switch to an older mobile and suddenly you noticed a change on how your data is displayed, it may be possible that this mobile doesn't have the latest version of the Fitbit app. This being said, please see our help article How do I use the Fitbit app? below the section "How do I update the Fitbit app?".
Please note that Fitbit app requires that your smartphone runs Android 11 or higher. For more information, see Fitbit setup requirements

Thanks @DavidFitbit, the older device had a fresh install so it was indeed the latest.
Curious: I was able to get my Pixel 7 running again. I slept and synced to the new phone again. The results were the same. It's like I died for 7 1/2 hours. Hopefully some sensor hasn't died in my week old Fitbit already? It still tracks workouts/heart rate just fine.

I have changed nothing about how I wear the device to bed, and generally what position I sleep in. With other devices I've always been skeptical of what movement is me vs my restless wife. Prior to the now unrelated phone swap, I was getting records that made a lot of sense with my Charge 6.
There's a lot of things to try in this reply and it will take days to try them all in isolation from one another. I'll start with restarting my device.
I will return!

Whaddya know? The restart fixed the problem. Like any computer I guess I need to do this once in a blue moon. I'll do it after the first sync of the day.
Thank you

Nevermind it's doing it again. Two days "normal" sleep data and we're back at it with the "dead" sleep. I'm gonna try arm band positioning tonight. Maybe it could be higher up my arm.

Hello @tangonov
Another suggestion that has worked for some users is to wear the Charge 6 on the inside of your wrist. If you give this a try, please let us know if it worked for you.

It's been three days of typical sleep data after moving the band for sure, honest to goodness, scouts honor two fingers away from my wrist joint. It feels weird. I only have two notches left in the large band because, well, I'm a big guy. I guess I'm glad nobody is looking.
I don't know how long I need to do this to call this issue done. Perhaps I could just lower my expectations for the odd night where the Fitbit doesn't like what it sees. Three days feels good to me.

Heya. It's now been ten nights of not only consistent, but interesting sleep data. I think we have it nailed with the band position and occasional restarting.
