Currently my watch went dead 4 days ago and is 30km away at shop why does my app still have steps recorded the last 4 days

Do you have your phone connected to Fitbit as a device to track activity?
Open the Fitbit app, tap the battery icon at the top right. Is you phone showing as a device on that screen?
