Charge 6 Won't Sync iPhone Steps, No Troubleshooting Has Helped!

Hello,

I got my new Charge 6 today, and paired it with the app, on my iPhone. The step data from earlier in the day did not appear in the app. I have been through every troubleshooting step I can find online, with no success in fixing it.

I have, in various orders:

  • Restarted the Fitbit
  • Restarted the phone
  • Confirmed Bluetooth is on, on the phone
  • Unpaired and repaired the Fitbit
  • Toggled Bluetooth on and off on the phone
  • Updated the phone softward
  • Confirmed that the Fitbit app settings in my iPhone settings have Bluetooth, cellular data and background app refresh turned on
  • Confirmed in the Health app settings in my iPhone that the app has permission to share steps data with the Fitbit app
  • Confirmed no other Fitbits are linked in the Fitbit app
  • Deleted the phone as a device in the app
  • Added the phone as a device in the app

If anyone has any ideas on what else to try, I would be so happy to hear them! I'm at my wit's end at this point!

Hey there @Franager13, welcome to the Fitbit Community.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share all the steps you've already taken. Let me try to figure this out!

Based on what you've said, you were using your phone as a device, and I'm guessing you got those steps from that device. If that's the case, is it possible that your device reset the main count of steps when you set it up? It shouldn't remove any data from the app, so I believe that might be a glitch.

To get those steps back, you can manually add them through the "Plus" button on the bottom right corner of the app, then select "Activity," and then "Walk!"
