Hello. I bought a brand new fitbit Charge 6 and i keep having an issue. My spinning session of 45 minutes is classified into general activity instead of workout despite being entried as a workout ? I started the workout manually on the watch (no auto detection). Because of that, the cardio load numbers are all wrong! 0 cardio load for a 45 min spinning session. Is there a fix? My watch and app are up to date as well.

Ive read all the entries in your link and it does not help me or explain why theres a glitch in my workout being recorded as general Activity DESPITE me starting manually the workout (no smarttrack or automatic detection). Ive done another workout this time with "Weights" mode that i activated on the watch, same issue. Workout is recorded, i have all my data but it still shows up in general activity and not workout therefore my cardio load numbers are 0 or very low. I am on the verge of returning the watch because of this bug. Is there a fix?

Hi there, is nice to see you again
thanks for reading the article and for look very engaged to find the solution to your situation.
From your tracker screen in the exercise app you can select an outside workout, after finishing the activity please sync with your app and if it changes the name you can edit it manually.
As a recomendation I also recommend you to allways check if there is any new update available in the future to be always up to date!

Hello @Dufort28
Based on the information that you provided, it sounds like something isn't right. Since you're manually starting your workout on your Charge 6, it should display your workout when you finish & sync to your Fitbit app.
I know there was an issue where users doing a spinning session weren't getting any cardio load. However, that issue was fixed in an app update. Yours is the first report that I've seen so far where a workout isn't showing the Fitbit app as an exercise/activity. I'll be monitoring for additional reports of a similar issue.
For now, please submit this using the Report issue or Feedback feature in the Fitbit app, whichever is available to you.
The Issue & Feedback reports are received by the team for review.
If I come across a thread on a similar issue that you're experiencing or any updates, I'll report back and let you know.
