I got a new Charge 6 yesterday and I am finding that it is adding steps whilst sitting down. So basically adding my hand movements whilst typing.
How can I stop this happening and only adding what I actually walk?
Thanks

@VickyLH activity trackers do not know if you are actually walking. The best thing to keep in mind is that all activity has a step value. To expect any activity tracker to count only actual steps is not possible. Don't get hung up on how many steps you take a day. There is no magic number. Do an online search and you will find that the idea of walking 10,000 steps per day as a goal for improving health and fitness originated in Japan in the 1960s as part of a marketing campaign for a pedometer.
Focus on what matters. Get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity a week. Or get at least 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week. Moderate aerobic exercise includes activities such as brisk walking, biking, swimming and mowing the lawn. Vigorous aerobic exercise includes activities such as running, swimming laps, heavy yard work and aerobic dancing.
