Charge 6; any regrets moving from fitbit- to google-account?

I have a charge 6 as an upgrade from charge 4. By installing the fitbit it requires transferring to a google account. But now I am hesitant, is there any reason why I can or will regret this transfer? Or does nothing change? Would like to know from people that already ‘moved’

For me, only downside is that I can't see any friends anymore because they haven't migrated yet. Nothing else changed for me.
