I've recently got a charge 6 and the only thing that is proving problematic is that every time an exercise begins (whether I've selected an exercise OR if an exercise is auto-detected) a notification on the fitbit buzzes continuously until I acknowledge it saying "share heart rate to your device?", meaning it will not stop buzzing until I swipe and select share. Ideally this should be something that is automatically shared if one of the key functions of the device is to monitor my heart rate? It's especially frustrating during auto-detected walking as I need to interrupt whatever I'm doing to say "share" or "cancel" if I ignore it then it just keeps buzzing forever!
Saw something on reddit that says its to do with the connection to apple health and to disconnect that way, but I'm a samsung device and in samsung health there's nowhere that my fitbit seems to be linked which I'd causing this. Help!

Hello @Soozannah
Hopefully, another Samsung user will chime in with help.
Have you looked to see if there's a support forum for Samsung Health? Those users might be able to help.

fitbit (samsung have their own watch so I guess it's the competition
aspect) so the notification to share each time is not about sharing my
heart rate to samsung health
So presumably this narrows down that the repeated notification is native
fitbit related and not related to samsung health...

I was actually having the same issue today after having my tracker for maybe a month. I recently changed my clock face from the default one the tracker comes with.
I poked around and decided to see if changing it back to the default clock face (Fast lane) would help. And surprisingly it did.
Try the same and see if it helps cause that buzzing can send you off a cliff.

Thank you. That worked. I went one step further and changed it back to preferred clock face (sans). Currently if hasn’t asked to connect again so hopefully it stays that way.
update: aagggrrr. Only lasted a day before it came back again so had to reset it to default clockface.

Noooooo. I set clock face to default and all was well for a day. It’s asking again. Anyone any other solutions?

I've done a bit of going through thinking about settings I've changed. I
never changed the clock face. Only thing I did was remove youtube music
from the menu because I don't plan on using it.
I'm nearly at the point of trying a full factory reset because there seems
to be no answer. I know this is a "community led" forum. But is there any
way to get in touch with fitbit and ask their advice on this problem?

I have exactly the same problem with my fitbit on an iPhone.
I have had my Charge 6 for over a year. I am not using the default screen and I have removed YouTube and some other apps as I don't use them and it makes it quicker to navigate the screens.

I can confirm that going into the Apple Health app and disabling requests from Fitbit solves the issue for iPhones. There must be a similar feature for Samsung and Android phones.

Ok, but HOW do you disable requests in Apple Health? As far as I'm aware I never connected the two. I've been through both the Fitbit and Apple Health apps and settings and they both tell me they're not connected, but I still get this issue every time. Got any detailed steps to share?

Do the following
1. settings 2. General 3. Health Data 4. Data & Access Devices 5. Devices select your phone 6. Turn off heart rate sharing or delete the data. Mine charge 6 stopped straight away. Hope it helps
