Charge 6 autodetects the start of a walk but not the end

My new charge 6 won't notice when I stop moving. Yesterday it logged a 4 hour walk when it was only 20 minutes. I have seen another thread from 18 months ago about this but can't see the same options in my app to change this. Can anyone help?

Also, my active minutes seem to be very sensitive - apparently I was active whilst drying my hair. Whilst the dryer is quite heavy, it's not strenuous! Any ideas on how to amend the threshold?

Thanks

Following. I just got my Charge 6 on July 15, learned I needed to turn on GPS for a Walk - done. In Settings - GPS is set to Dynamic. But the GPS tracking is not correct. I walk specific routes with my dogs & the GPS tracker shows me going to areas I know we have not walked. It seems my now-dead Charge 4 was definitely more accurate. Is this a known Charge 6 defect, is there anything I can do to improve accuracy?

And why does the comment above show the word "Jogger" & 2 comments? I'm beginning to suspect I got a refurbished Charge 6.

@leapyearcin "Jogger" is just a forum "rank" based on your post count. You can ignore it.

@Skingola I find the auto-tracking of workouts to be hit or miss at best. If you want your walk to be accurately recorded, you should start the exercise directly from the watch using the Exercise function on your device.
