Charge 6 automatically detecting walking when this feature tuned off

ANSWERED

I have switched off all of the automatically detect exercises in Fitbit settings. However, when I am walking I regularly see that my Fitbit is in the middle of a walking workout.

Hello @bitfat_ and welcome to the Community.  The Charge 6 has a separate auto detection feature that will offer to turn on the Exercise app for three shortcuts: walk, run, and bike.  Here is a link to the exercise section of the Charge 6 manual.  Jump to the Customize your exercise settings.  Notice that it mentions Run/Walk/Bike Detect.  Follow the instruction to turn off the Walk Detect.  Do the same for the Run and Bike shortcuts to turn it off there.

Thanks I didn't know those had options, you are right I had just set it in the app.

@LZeeW  This doesn't work. The Charge 6 has a bug and no matter what you do it will always auto-detect walks.

@uscpsycho   If the Charge 6 has a new bug in the Exercise app, please start a new thread and give complete details.  You put in a lot of effort to tag me in seven old posts and they might not be relevant if a firmware update caused a new bug.  My answer was the correct answer at the time.
